February's UMW meeting will be on Saturday the 6th at 11:00 with soup and dessert. Check with your circle leader as to what to bring.

Ruth Circle will not have a meeting in February, Next meeting will be on March 2nd which will be our candy planning meeting.

Lydia Circle The next meeting will be Tuesday, February 23, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. This is a deviation from our plan of holding the meeting on the third Wednesday of the month because of Ash Wednesday and the time is a little bit longer to allow more time for the projects we have going. Please bring any projects you are currently working on or projects you would like to share with the group and any ideas for projects for the community. Snack and childcare will be provided. Any questions, contact Robin Jacaway or Karen Brown.

Lydia Circle is making fleece blankets to be sent for the children of Haiti. We are making the blankets for Project Linus who is working with Christian Aid Ministries to send 10,000 blankets to the children of Haiti. We will be delivering the items to Project Linus on February 20th.

There are three ways you can help:
1) Make a fleece blanket. Ask Robin Jacaway for a copy of a pattern. Please use only the patterns Project Linus provided—do not deviate.
2) Purchase 1-1/2 yards of fleece fabric to give to a Lydia Circle member who will make the blanket for you.
3) Donate money to go toward shipping the blankets or to be used to purchase more fabric. Please write in the memo of your check “Postage/Project Linus” OR “Lydia/fabric”. Place your check in the offering plate.

Please continue to pray for the people of Haiti and give thanks for organizations like Project Linus, Christian Aid Ministries and Lydia Circle who work so hard to care for God’s people, young, old, rich and poor. Thank you so much.

Mission Miles Pennies UMW are again saving pennies for Mission Miles. The “money jar” will be on the table in the Narthex.

Kumler Food Basket: For the month of January, soup and chili will be collected. Place your items in the labeled tub in the Fellowship Area.
