VBS is right around the corner at Douglas Avenue UMC! Please tell everyone, Four years to Grade 5, about High Seas Expedition VBS that will be held:
    August 1 through August 5 from 5:45 PM - 8:00 PM

Dinner will be served at 5:15 to 5:45 PM.

Shirts & Aprons Thank you to everyone who previously ordered t-shirts and aprons.  We are once again selling t-shirts and aprons!  These can make wonderful Christmas gifts!  We will be selling the red tie-dye t-shirts with your choice of black or white lettering, youth small to Adult 3XL.  We also have a new t-shirt design and a polo-style shirt.  Aprons will once again be available.  Stop by and check out what we have!  We will be selling on Sunday November 9 & 16 before and after Sunday School.  We hope to have the order back, at the latest, by December 14 (if you need your “stuff” earlier, please let us know when you place the order).  If you have any questions or want to place an order, call Nancy Rosse.

Thanks to everyone who braved the weather and had their car washed by the Youth on Sunday, October 26!  We hope to have another car wash in the spring!

The November meeting of the United Methodist Women will be Friday, November 7. The General Meeting starts at 10:30 a.m. in the Round Room followed by lunch consisting of the famous “Potato Bar”.

Elizabeth Circle will meet Monday, November 3, 7:30 p.m. at the home of Rosemarie Stoelting. Billie Vuylsteke will act as co-hostess and will also give devotions. Rosemarie will provide the program.

The Circle has a new shipment of dish cloths for sale. These are knitted, soft, ravel proof and large. The price is 3 for $5.00. Call Winnie Lawless, or Barb Holman, to place an order.

The pecans are here and ready for you to buy. We have pound bags of broken pieces and large halves. The price is $8.00 per pound.
